Schechter Boston teamed up once again with No Empty Bedside to collect and distribute toys to children hospitalized at MGH. What a successful Toy Drive we had this year!
NOVEMBER 30, 2020
Schechter Boston teamed up with No Empty Bedside to collect and distribute toys to children hospitalized at MGH. Hospitalization is never easy but this past year, Covid added additional complications limiting programming and visitations. Thanks to your donations, we were able to collect LOTS of toys...in fact the toys you see on the right are just 1/3 of what we collected! |

What a day! We met so many new people at the Newton Harvest Fair and told them about all the amazing work we are doing to help the families at MassGeneral Hospital for Children. Creating awareness is one of the most important things that we do and it's one of the most effective ways of getting people to make online donations. Thank you Newton Harvest Fair for a wonderful day!

Susan & Timothy Corcoran opened the first Black Ink in 1994 in Beacon Hill as a small shop selling artistic rubber stamps and fine papers. Eight years later they opened their second location in Harvard Square. They are locally owned and operated and stock their shelves with products from all over the world. They also hold a commitment to giving back to the community, as evidenced by their monthly origami fundraiser projects. No Empty Bedsides was lucky to partake in one of these fundraisers. Black Ink sold folded hearts for a dollar, raised $250, and generously matched that with an additional $250. Thank you!

Juliet is home of Somerville's most unique dining experience. Once a month, on the third Sunday, Juliet identifies a community organization to receive 10% of the revenue from food sales during dinner. No Empty Bedsides was fortunate to be one of these community organizations. It was a wonderful event that raised much awareness for our organization in the Somerville community.

A huge thank you to the Needham Harvest Fair for letting No Empty Bedsides have a table alongside all the other wonderful vendors. We schmoozed all day and created a real buzz about the ways we are making a difference in the lives of families at MassGeneral Hospital for Children.
